Facebook avatar launch in India. The feature allows you to create your own digital avatar. These avatars help users to share their emotions and expressions in a fun way. The feature was announced a few weeks ago by the social media platform.
Users can make their own cartoon-like avatar by choosing a variety of faces, outfits, and hairstyles. Avatar will allow the users to create their digital persona which will be the representative of you. This avatar can also be used in Facebook comments, your profile photo and stories, Facebook messenger chat, and also can share it on WhatsApp chats.
Facebook avatar claims that the Avatar will allow users to customize how will they present themselves on social media platforms. The avatar creator can be bookmarked in the app of Facebook and also in the comment composer. Users can also use the avatar creator from someone else avatar post shared on the Facebook page.
This feature was earlier launched in New Zealand and Australia. It also made available in Europe and the U.S along with India. Make sure that your Facebook is updated. If not then you have to update your Facebook mobile app from the Google Play Store or Apple Store.
At this movement, the avatar creation from a messenger is only present on Android devices. In Apple iOS version it is under development, the company says.
How to create your Facebook Avatar:
- Go to the ‘Bookmarks’ on the Facebook application.
- Click on the ‘smiley’ icon.
- Tap on ‘stickers’ and you will see the “Make your Avatar” option there.
- Click on ‘Create your Avatar’
Facebook also recently rolled out new features ‘LOCK YOUR PROFILE’ FACEBOOK’S NEW FEATURE – In India, Facebook announces the new feature which allows you to “lock your profile”. It gets access to details and photos. The new feature is to keep the program safe, especially for women, and secure their privacy. Facebook launches this feature only for Android devices. Therefore, it is presently not available on the iPhone and Web.
