Facebook will allow the employees to work from home until July 2021. It will also provide those employees who are working from home with $1000 for needs because go this coronavirus pandemic. CEO of Facebook, Mark Zuckerberg announced this in a weekly question and answer virtual meetings with the employees. Facebook’s, 48,000 employees from all over the world have set a cancellation of all the major events until June 2021.
A Facebook spokeswoman says that “Based on guidance from health and government experts, as well as decisions are drawn from our internal discussions about these matters, we are allowing employees to continue working from home until July 2021. In addition, we are giving employees an additional $1,000 for home office needs.”

Zuckerberg said, “With coronavirus growing quickly in the US, there’s currently no end in sight for when our teams here will be able to return to our offices. It is incredibly depressing because it seems like the US could’ve avoided this current surge in cases if our government had handled this better.”

Facebook said that it will reopen the office only when the government allows. This will happen only when the virus will reduce all over the world.
March Zuckerberg said in May this year that almost 50 % of Facebook’s employees could be working from home for the next five to ten years. He also said, “The reality is that I don’t think it’s going to be that we wake up one day on January first and nobody has any more concerns about this.”
Other Tech companies like Google and Twitter have already announced work-from-home.
Sundar Pichai, CEO of Google announced work-from-home last week, till the end of June 2021. He sent an e-mail to everyone. His staff that, “To give employees the ability to plan ahead, we are extending our global voluntary work from home option through June 30, 2021, for roles that don’t need to be in the office.”
CEO of Twitter, Jack Dorsey, said that their employees should work from home for their good. He also said, “The past few months have proven we can make that work. So if our employees are in a role and situation that enables them to work from home and they want to continue to do so forever, we will make that happen.”
