From 6 July Google announced to start the office in some of the cities for limited employees. This announcement was made on a blog post by Sundar Pichai, CEO of Google.
Google slowly start working from the office again, by making an optional decision for the employees. Some of the employees are needed back in the office is completely an option.
In some of the cities where the conditions would allow, the employees will have the option to work from the offices on limited days and limited time. The employees which are needed in the office will be required to work from the office one day in two-week period.
CEO of Google said that individual needs and personal preferences will be taken into account during the gradual process. So in the end, most Google employees who want to work from the office campuses will be able to do so on a limited basis but employees that are needed to work from the office will have priority.

In this condition of COVID-19, it plans to slowly expand the workspace from 10% to 30%. It depends on the condition increased around September.
For those employees who are working from home, it will give them $1,000, or the similar in their national currency expense for the office equipment. Pichai wrote, “At the same time, we are very familiar with distributed work as we have many offices around the world and open-minded about the lessons we’ll learn through this period.”
He also added, “Our campus is designed to authorized the association and community at the same time, we are familiar with the distributed work as we have many offices around the world and open-minded about the lessons we’ll learn through this period.”He also thanked those employees who continued to come onsite for offices and data centers.
