MIUI 12: LAUNCHES IN INDIA KNOW ITS TOP TEN FEATURES

Xiaomi launched its MIUI 12 phone in India on 12 August. The company announced that they will bring the update to Mi 10, Redmi Note 9/Redmi Note 9 Pro, Redmi Note 8/Redmi Note 8 Pro, and then the Redmi Note 7/Redmi Note 7 Pro, in a consecutive way, starting from this month. It is also declared that the more Xiaomi will launch the more devices will be followed after, for that a rollout schedule will be posted on its social network. 

The phone is next-generation custom Android skin. It has bought new privacy options, cool live wallpapers, new always-on display themes, power switch animation, application animation, redesigned camera application, and many more.  

Top ten features of MIUI 12 and how is it different from MIUI 11:

MI Light Animation framework:

MI Light Animation framework, the company made the user experience much featureless. This new frame consists of three key features which are: 

  1. Light Cone Rendering Engine – which makes advanced color blaring and blending possible, allowing the users to see UI blurring in real-time. 
  2. Light Cone Physics Engine – It also gets three-dimensional experience throughout the UI by Turing UI elements into the real objects. 
  3. Enhanced animation framework – helps to make all the animations in the UI smoother.

New Control Centre and Notification Shade:

With this MIUI 12, the company has break the notification shade into two parts: 

  1. New Control Centre – It can be accessed by knocked down from the top right and it consists of all the quick settings dial and other options of settings. 
  2. Redesigned Notification Shade – This notification shade can be knocked down by the top left. This consists of much more attractive notification which provides users with too more information at one glimpse. 

Weather application and system UI application:

This new feature allows the users to see real-life weather conditions inside an application. For example, if a storm is coming on your way the weather application will indicate you of the storm in the background, or if the snowfall is coming it will also be seen in the background. Like this feature, there is also a feature which is been brought into other applications as well and which is called Layered application. For example, it will show you the sunrise in the UI logo for the application.

Dark Mode:

The phone supports dark mode on a most third-party application, to recollect that MIUI 11 brought a system-wide dark mode only for the system application. 

Super Wallpaper:

Super Wallpaper is inclined by the space and is images of the real aspects of Mars and Earth taken by NASA. The images of the planets will zoom in only when the phone is unlocked. Apart from zooming into various areas of the planets, the Super Wallpapers can also change with time like day, evening, night.

Magic Clone:

In the camera of MIUI 12, the company has added a Magic Clone feature which will allow the users to take images and videos of them along with their duplicate. Right now, this feature is only available in MIUI 10, and soon will be available to all the phones. 

Universal Casting Tool:

MIUI 12 users can cast anything they do on their phones on to a TV which supports MiraCast. It allows the users to use the private casting features which allows them to receive calls and messages, without disturbing the cast. 

Applications Drawer:

Xiaomi company with MIUI 12 is finally introducing the application drawer which holds all of your applications. The app drawer looks similar to the one which was seen in Poco launcher. This will not be automatically be turned on and will require the users to turn it on by themselves from the settings. 

Ultra Battery Saver Mode:

The company declares that using the new Ultra Battery Saver Mode customers might get approximately five hours more usage from their phones or devices. The mode is similar to the Ultra Power Saver Mode from Samsung, which only allows users to operate some of the applications which are necessary for the users. 

Floating Windows:

The new Floating Windows feature allows the users to keep their work at the same time using other tasks also. The multitasking window instead of snapping at the bottom or closing the other app opens inside of a window, that contains all your data and can be dragged around to whichever part you want of your screen.
