Motorola Moto G9 has been launched in India as Motorola’s new smartphone for the pile. The new model comes with so much more than five months after the Lenovo-owned company reveals the Moto G8 which did not reach India but launch in Brazil in the month of March.
As the Moto G8 got success, the Moto G9 offers a triple rear camera that is set up with 48-megapixel primary sensor, 20W fast charging, and a 6.5-inch large display. The phone holds on to the company’s airtight design which was launched on the Moto G8 and earlier on the Moto G-series phones. Furthermore, the Moto G9 competes against Red Note 9 Pro, Realme 6i, and Samsung Galaxy M21.
Motorola Moto G9 price in India:
The price of the Motorola Moto G9 has been set to Rs. 11,499 for the single, 4GB RAM+64GB storage variant. The phone comes with two color options – Sapphire Blue and Forrest Green. Moto G9 is available in Flipkart. Moreover, the first sale will take place on 31 August at 12 pm (noon).

The dual-SIM (Nano) Moto G9 runs on Android 10 and it features a 6.5-inch HD+ Max Vision TFT display with the aspect ratio of 20:9 and 87% screen-to-day ratio. The phone has an octave-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 662 SoC, along with 4GB of LPDDR4 RAM. The triple rear camera is set up with 48-megapixel primary sensor which has an f/1.7 lens and is also based on Quad Pixel technology.
The camera also includes a 2-megapixel depth sensor with an f/2.4 lens and a 2-megapixel sensor with an f/2.4 macro lens. There is an 8-megapixel camera sensor at the front, with an f/2.2 lens, for selfies. The phone also comes with preinstalled with the camera features like HDR, Face beauty, RAW photo output, Auto smile capture, and Manual mode.
The Motorola Moto G9 has 64GB of onboard storage which is also expandable via MicroSD card up to 512GB. The smartphone has a connectivity option which includes 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth v5.0, GPS/ A-GPS, NFC, FM radio, USB Type-C, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. Sensors on board include ambient light, proximity sensor, bar sensor, accelerometer, and gyroscope. There is also a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor.
The phone measures 165.21×75.73×9.18mm and the weight of the phone is 200 grams. The phone G9 packs a 5,000 man battery life with supports 20 W fast charging and is praised to deliver up to two days of battery life on a single charge.
This year the Motorola company also launched Motorola One Fusion Plus which is an outstanding phone.
