NETFLIX TESTS NEW MOBILE PLAN OF RS. 349 IN INDIA

Netflix is an American technology and a media-services provider that was founded in the year 1997 by Reed Hastings and Marc Randolph. The company’s business is subscription-based streaming service which provides online films, televisions, and web series. It currently has more than 193 million paid subscriptions in the whole world, in this, it also includes the 73 subscriptions of the United States. It is one of the famous websites all over the world for watching web series and movies online.

Netflix is testing a new mobile plan in India for Rs. 349. The new plan comes with an option of high-definition (HD), this plan is lower in price and it is the most-affordable (SD) Standard Definition plan at Rs. 499. Last year, they brought its most affordable mobile plan at Rs. 199. 

In Rs. 199 plan, users did not care about the streaming quality. They now have reported that it is testing a better version of the Mobile plan which is called the Mobile+ plan. These plans can be used by users to watch the content on three devices like computers, tablets, and phones. This account can only be used on one phone at a time. It is the second mobile plan which is launched by Netflix in India.

Let’s see Netflix Plan details:

Netflix says, ”We launched the Mobile Plan in India to make it easier for anyone with a smartphone to enjoy Netflix. We want to see if members like the added choice this offer bring. We’ll only roll it out long-term if they do.”

The new plan looks like a better deal than the basic plan. If users did not like watching Netflix on TV, the Mobile+ plan has better revive and it’s of low cost as well.

Netflix has two more subscription plans for the users of Indian. The quality plan is priced at Rs. 649 per month. The most expensive one is Rs. 799 premium plan which lets users watch 4K, HDR content, and support UHD streaming. 

The plan is presently being tested and Netflix India will make it available permanently, by the response of the public.
