Samsung is ready to launch its 3 foldable smartphones, Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 on September 1 after revealing it at a launch event of the Galaxy Note 20 series. The replacement of the Galaxy Fold which was launched in India is expected to be a better folding device as the company has faced a few major issues of the phone to make it more active for daily use.
Before the device comes to India, there are reports that the Galaxy Z Fold 2 might come first to the country. As the phone is making headlines, the company decided to launch it tomorrow. The phones have been spotted online with the model number SM-F415F. As per a report by GSMArena, the model number is a hint of the phone sporting a more affordable price tag than the original Galaxy Fold and the Galaxy Z Fold 2.
Interestingly, the model number was spotted in the support pages of Samsung’s official website for India. The listing does not reveal any of the details about the device, but it is confirmed that the Fold 2 will be launched in India.

Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 specification:
The screen is said to be improved from the previous phone. Instead of the screen which had a poor aspect ratio upon folding, Samsung has apparently decreased the boundary to make it more usable when the device is folded. As per reports, the outer display is a 6.23-inch SUPER AMOLED with 2,260 x 816 pixels and a 25:9 aspect ratio. It will come with an Infinity-O display to house a 10MP selfie camera. There will be a 60Hz refresh rate and HDR10+ support.
The display inside is said that is new and well improved. Reports suggest that it will have a 7.6-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2x display with 2,208 x 1,768 pixels and a dynamic 120Hz refresh rate. The camera for the inner display has also been improved as said. Rather than taking place on the right side of the phone, now there’s a 10MP camera.
It has been said to be packed with the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 865+ processor coupled with 12GB RAM and 256GB internal storage. At the back of the device, it is tipped to include a triple camera setup with a huge bump like there is in Samsung Galaxy Note 20 series. Also, there will be a 12MP primary camera, 12MP ultra-wide camera, and a 12MP telephoto lens.

There is also fingerprint scanner which will be arranged on the side. All of this will be backed by a 4,500 mAh battery which supports 25W fast-charging, 11W wireless charging, and reverse wireless charging as well.
The expected price of Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2:
The phone was listed on the company’s website in the United Kingdom. According to the list, it will cost £1,799 (Rs 1,75,644 approximately). To know the exact price we should wait until September 1. As the price is not been out, the company would end up making the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2, the cheapest foldable phone in the market right now. This would not make it cheaper than Motorola Razr, but also make it cheaper than the Galaxy Z Flip.
