Sony revealed the first look of the Play Station 5 on Thursday when millions of people were watching the live digital event worldwide. Sony takes technology to another step by making new gadgets and new games. The launch got delayed earlier because of the death of George Floyd in the US.
“There are so many things which are not yet shared about the PS5, like price and the release date”, said the freelance games critic, Laura Kate Dale. Spider-Man and Horizon Forbidden West are the two games that were the best selling PS4. Sony also plans to release Microsoft’s rival Xbox Series X before ending of this year.
The release date of PS5 will be between the month of October to December 2020. Play Station 5 which will also be known as PS5 will includes VR (Virtual Reality) in it.
The PS5 will support 8K graphics, 4K graphics and 120Hz refresh rate, and 3D audio. The PS5 will have an eight-core CPU based on AMD’s 7nm process and a custom AMD RSNA 2 based on GPU, said by Architect Mark Cerny. The PS5 will be able to place horizontally and vertically.

- Gran Turismo 7
- Resident Evil 8
- Spider-Man: Miles Morales
- Horizon Forbidden West
- Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales
- Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart
- Hitman 3
- Starfield
- Elder Scrolls 6
- Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2
We also expect some of the games like The Witcher 4, Uncharted 5, and many more to launch in the PS5, but let’s see. As far as we have known the price of PS4 and PS4 pro it was about $399, so we expect the PS5 to be around the price of $499 approximately. The two PlayStation 5 pity will launch a standard number with a 4K Blu-ray disc drive, and a slimmer, disc-free Digital Edition.
Hiroki Totoki, the chief financial officer, Executive Deputy President and Representative Executive Officer of Sony Corporation described that “What is not very clear or visible is because we are competing in the space, so it’s very difficult to discuss anything about the price at this point of time and depending upon the price level, we may have to determine the promotion that we are going to deploy and how much costs we are prepared to pay,”
The PS5 will be matching number of accessories, which includes headphones, remote control, and camera.
