As we all know, telegram is a popular cloud-based messaging app, can now be adding video calling because there has been a huge demand for that in the application. Telegram introduced a feature called Telegram Calls back in the year 2017 with end-to-end encryption. Now, the application is testing the option of video calling for the users.
Android Police Stated, “Telegram has launched the new video calling feature for its beta version v7.0.0. Installing the beta version is a bit complicated as it is not available through PlayStore directly. Users who want to try this version can download it from the Telegram’s App Centre page. Telegram releases disconnected beta APKs with a different signature. The beta version is installed along with Telegram or Telegram X applications which users may already have and can use once the declaration is complete.”
Users should make clear that video calling will only happen if the beta version is installed on both the devices. The report noted that Telegram’s video calling combines with other apps. The users have the option to flip between the rear and the front cameras, mute the video, of the video, and hang up the call. Tapping the window in the bottom right switches between the two participants.

The beta version can also support video calls and also have an amazing feature which is Picture-in-Picture. This can be obtained by tapping on the back arrow on the screen top left while in a call. Users will get a pop-up notification which they had to confirm. Similar to WhatsApp and other video calling applications, a caller’s small window will be available instantly and can be swapped with the larger window with a tap. On the other hand, users can use the back button which is automatically activated the phenomenon.
“The option for group call is right now not available in the beta version,” as per the report. Also said that the sound was only been transported through the headphone with no availableness to the loudspeaker. This can be fixed by turning the video off and then turning it back on, on both of the devices.
