Twitter is working on a new feature where users will be able to retweet with their quotes on each post. The option of ‘quote retweet’ will now be showing like ‘quotes’ on each and every post and will also show the number of retweets and likes are display. A Twitter spokesperson said, “A few months ago, we made Retweets with Comments more visible when you tap to see Retweets on a Tweet.”
The spokesperson also said, “This is available to everyone. Now, we’re testing making Retweets with Comments accessible directly on the Tweet and new language to see if this makes them easier to access and more understandable.” In the month of May, they announced that they are testing the new feature where it will show you the option of retweets with the comments in an unconnected column.
The main reason for doing this is to see “retweets with comments” in an entangled way. The column will apart from the recent tweets check but will be live in the same line under the post. This feature will retweet the list of the tweets you get and it will separate those tweets with comments from those without making it easy to check if someone you can get in touch with. Twitter is also working on Android and iOS users to schedule a tweet to be released on some specific time or date.
The scheduling system is only available right now on some user’s Twitter account for desktop and it will soon be available for all the users. Twitter’s feature is also testing to give users a second chance to edit their tweets and replies, only if they contain insulting, rude, or hate content before they post it on the platform and face results for breaking its policies.
