The application is rolling out few new features which include ringtone for group calls, news icons, advance search, and many more to come in its latest Android Beta update. They will give this update for testing.
Ringtone for group calls on WhatsApp updates:
WhatsApp update tracker reports the WhatsApp is working on a new ringtone for group calls. So whenever you get a group call on WhatsApp, a new ringtone will be played on a loop. Currently, while someone calling you on WhatsApp, the ringtone on your phone plays but now WhatsApp is working on a Different ringtone.
Apart from this, the application is also working on improving sticker animation. When the animated stickers were out for both the Android and iOS users, they were not happy with this “one-time-play” stickers to rule. WhatsApp is trying to make stickers better for the users. Wabetainfo read, “WhatsApp has implemented a new type of animation for animated stickers, looping them at most 8 times. Long animated stickers (so animated stickers having a lot of frames) will loop fewer times. With the 2.20.198.11 update, the feature should be available for everyone now.”
They are redesigning the user interface for calls. WhatsApp has moved all the icons which also includes the camera reverse icon, the message icon, the video off and audio off icon, and the information icon at the bottom of the call page. Wabetainfo informs that all the updates are recently under development and it can be launched out only after WhatsApp is done testing all their features.

The QR codes support has come for iOS and it could also come for Android soon. This update will let all the users set their QR codes instead of the phone number. The users can simply scan the QR code to add a new contact.
Advanced Search –
Through this advanced search, the users will be able to search for any particular chat. This application earlier this month has released a beta trial of this advanced search function for iOS and now it is coming to more users. The update is now coming in other Android beta analyst. This update has been all over the world. It let the users search type of messages like GIF, text, picture, documents, and audio. Once this update will be there, everyone will be able to search for any chat easily and faster.
Rooms –
India Today Tech was the first on to spot the rooms integration on the WhatsApp for iOS and now the update has is also there for Android users. The Messenger Rooms shortcut will be visible along with other shortcut icons in the app such as camera, document, gallery, audio, and location. Rooms are WhatsApp answers to video conferencing applications like Google Meet and Zoom. This feature lets you video call with friends or family or anyone on Facebook with up to 50 members.
Animated stickers for Androids –
WhatsApp has come out with the new animated sticker update for the iOS users, but it might come for Android users soon. In WhatsApp chatting is more fun with animated stickers.
