Zoom has become one of the most used videos conferencing software. It allows you to virtually interconnect with your co-workers. In zoom, you can join from any application without signing in, but also let you sign in by using your Zoom Account, Facebook, Google, or SSO. There are 6 new features that are updated in zoom.
More Control:
You will now be able to see the people who are there in the waiting room through a pop-up that will be visible to you outside the member’s panel. This will help the host to know which member is waiting to join. This feature will work even if your screen is minimized or you are sharing some other screen. You can also transfer a Zoom phone call to any Zoom meeting by only adding the meeting link, calendar event sharing, or Personal Meeting ID.
Filters range:
Zoom followed the pattern of other application and it introduced the new filters like mustache, eyepatch, bunny, and many more. You can also use many other video filters. Although, you can not use these filters while office meetings until and unless if the meeting is casual. These all filters will be used more while video conferencing your gamily members or your friend circle.
Reactions in Video:
All the users will able to send emoji’s as live reactions like laugh, heart, or celebrate while ongoing conversation. You will be able to use that just by clicking on the button of reaction.
Noise Cancellation:
This feature will remove unwanted noise like a fan, rain outside, or any other background noise which is disturbing. You will get three options after allowing the ’Suppress background noise’ option which is low, medium, and high.
Presentation mode:
The users will now be able to show their PowerPoint presentations or keynote presentation in the meeting as a virtual background. While giving this presentation you can move your video to any corner of the screen so that you can see the presentation easily. This is a more easy option than sending everyone personally. This is a picture-in-picture mode.
More brightness:
This feature will help you to brighten your video. As some of the people faces a problem with the webcams on laptops so this feature will help. For this setting, click on ‘Adjust for low light’, and then increase the brightness according to you. Also, there is a touch of your appearance, a ‘skin smoothing’ feature which is there are many of the smartphones.
